This stoneware casserole has two purposes- as an oven casserole for baking and as a microwave steamer. It features soft yellow/tan sunflowers on a grey glossy background. Incised and hand painted, the flowers emphasize the wide form. Inside is a smooth semi-matt grey glaze. From oven to table the casserole will keep its contents hot for serving. To use as steamer, place vegetables and a couple tablespoons of water in the pot, cover, and microwave. Handles make it easy to lift this pot with pot holders when hot. Food safe glazes. Oven proof, dishwasher safe, and microwavable.
