This stoneware cylinder is designed to hold a bottle of chilled wine and keep it at serving temperature at the table. Pre-chill the pottery cylinder an hour or two before use, and the coldness of the clay will help keep the wine chilled. The dark brown grape vine and leaves hand- sculpted in bas relief offer a handsome decoration for this piece, set off by the yellow/orange mat glaze with olive tones. Interior glaze is a smooth grey matt. This form is also suitable for storing cooking utensils on the countertop, or for using as a vase for flowers. Waterproof, dishwasher proof, with food safe glazes. Holds a standard bottle of wine or other similar bottle.
