This sculptural teapot will win the hearts of all horse lovers! The unique form incorporates a hand sculpted head and tail on a functional stoneware teapot. The details reveal a delicately made head, mane, and tail with texture and hand painted color. The open mouth provides a pouring spout and the sturdy handle is comfortable to hold. Exterior glaze is a smooth matt in yellowish brown/olive tones with dark brown mane, tail, and forelock. Interior glaze is a smooth grey semi-matt. This teapot is designed to have hot water poured into it to brew tea, but is not appropriate for placing directly on a burner or other heat source. Food safe, microwavable. Hand washing recommended. Holds approximately 4.5 cups.
