This stoneware casserole is beautiful and functional in all respects. Brilliant purple and maroon fuchsias trail around the lid in a vine-like pattern of deep green on a glossy, speckled white glaze. The bowl part of the casserole continues the green vine motif. Inside, there is a smooth semi-matte brown/cream colored glaze that makes for easy cleaning. This piece may be used as a steamer in the microwave and also as a traditional casserole in the oven. Additionally, it is handy for reheating leftovers and storing food in the refrigerator.
